I'm angrier than my blog sounds that they'd dare to ruin the pretty St Petersburg skyline with a skyscraper. After my trip to Russia last summer I have a souvenir calendar from St Petes on my kitchen wall and I can see exactly the spot they plan to put it. No thank you!

Do you know any other beautiful cities being ruined by skyscrapers??

Oh dear, just learnt that Paris is getting a new skyscraper too (http://www.jaunted.com/story/2006/11/30/... - seems to be a bit of skyscraper syndrome going around at the moment ...
