» Feature Writer Barbara Rogers - Guidebooks for travelers

I agree that Bradt books are good, and I particularly like the Cadogan series, also published in the UK. I especially like those written by the team of Dana Facaros and Michael Pauls, who seem to specialise in Italy and Spain. But I find all the Cadogan guides good, filled with little places I would never have found on my own and refreshingly free of the gushing drivel about places we've all already heard about over and over again.
