Thanks, I'm glad you liked the article.
The Museum actually covers the period from the 1930s and the German occupation, the Soviet occupation up to the fall of the Soviet Union/Lithuanian independence. I sound like I should have made that more clear in the article. Because it covers the period when the Germans where in Lithuania and one of the huge impacts of their presence prior to WWII was the liquidation and murder of the Lithuanian Jewish population, I thought that a discussion of that subject is relevant to the rest of the museum. Also, the museum has the word genocide in the name, and the Holocaust is a prime example of genocide.
